Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Third Engineer for a VLCC vessel.

Rank: Third Engineer
Vessel Type: VLCC
Takeover Date: early June 2026
Contract: 4 months
Salary: 4500 USD+ higher license bonus 300 USD per month

Requirements
Experience on the same type of vessel (VLCC)
Valid STCW certification and Flag State endorsement
Extensive experience with slow speed main engines and auxiliary machinery on large crude oil tankers
Strong knowledge of planned maintenance systems and dry docking procedures
Experience with oil major inspections and vetting requirements
Good engine room management skills
Good command of English
